The veteran Italian hard rock band is making a strong comeback with their upcoming album, “Shut Up!” set for release on September 20, 2024. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the band has returned to its roots, embracing the golden era of American melodic hard rock with catchy choruses, loud guitars, pounding drums, and dreamy keyboards.

DangerZone are Giacomo Gigantelli on Lead Vocals, Roberto Priori Lead Guitar,Danilo Faggiolino Guitar, Paolo Palmieri Drums, Matteo Minghetti Bass and Pier Mazzini Keyboards & Vocals. A blistering start to this album opens up with "I Like It" full of feel-good rhythms. This is a perfect start as these Italians stamp their return firmly into your soul with its sing-along chorus, you simply could be driving down life's highways with this number turned up to eleven!

A real touch of class is unleashed as "Evil" sees the guys showcase their great mix of Hard Rock and AOR, the two styles work perfectly as again you see yourself singing along after a couple of listens. A Melodic rocker is up next as "Tell Me The Truth" digs deep into relationship trauma, full of drama and mystery, this song is immense. Now the next song could be my song "I Don't Care" another catchy number and possibly my favorite on here (today anyway). Keyboard-fuelled "Too Late" has an air of epic about it, love the way this song works its magic and meaningful lyrics pierce your heart.

The quality continues as "Run From The Madness" kicks up a storm as another great hook-driven track spills outta ya speakers with "I'll Make It Right". This band from Italy really should be huge and more well-known than they are, as potential hit after hit is unleashed. There is an air of epic about the next track, "Hurt". Blistering riff as another corking slice of Melodic Hard Rock is unleashed on the listener. A complex mix of keyboards and guitars around a solid rhythm section see "When You Broke My Soul" ticking all the boxes with its addictive moves.
The penultimate track "Faithless Ways" pulls no punches, it is heavy and delicious, verging on symphonic heaven and another favorite of mine on this stunning opus. "Straight Down The Line" brings this work to a close, a kick-ass heads-down boogie party emanates from your speakers and a brilliant close to a superb release.

It’s always exciting to see veteran bands like Danger Zone making a strong comeback "Shut Up" promises the listener a hard-hitting, melodic journey that is easily one of this genre's albums of 2024!
