                                                                                       Plastic Age Interview  31/10/19

MM: Which two tracks would you play me  to introduce us to your Band

PA:We would pick "My Time", the second track of our "Blood Red Roses" album because it is a The Hives reference. This band has a big influence on us. And then, the last track of the album which carries the same name.

MM: Can you give us details on tours/festivals for the rest of the year and going into 2020

PA:We are playing for the first time in England on 23rd, 24th and 25th of October and we are so happy about it! Then we will have some live shows at the end of 2019 and we might be back on the road in 2020. We also have a project for the Fall of 2020 that will give space to yet another tour.

MM: What can we expect from  (band name)  live

PA:Lots of energy. We go pedal to the metal while on stage and when the crowd is syncing in with us, it makes us so proud and so then we get the push to make it worth. Plus, we have a great technical team for sound and light that made it through lots of workshops and preparations so it's way cool to be putting that on a live stage.

MM: Can u tell me what do you like best about touring And worst?

PA:We love the travelling part, seeing new places and cities, countries, meeting lots of people, playing in so many different venues and getting back home with a load of great memories. The worst of it must be the tiredness and the down road to the normal life when it's all over.

MM: Who would be your ultimate bands to tour with
PA:We would love to tour with Royal Blood because they form a band that we have a great respect for and that we love. They make great shows around the world.

MM: With so many Bands out there..How do you intend to stand out from the others?
PA:We don't care about it, we just  want to express ourselves and we think that if we do it sincerely the shows will be personal and unique.

MM: When did you first realise you had such a musical talent and do you remember your first ever performance,
PA:We don't have that much talent. We just play with passion. We are all working together to mix up together our influences. We just do it. That's all. We remember our first gig. We played for ten people because it was outside and it was snowing so not much people stayed. We barely knew how to play but it was our first time and it will remain an unforgettable memory.

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why?
PA:It was at the Rock en Seine festival and it was The Hives back in 2014. This band has a huge influence on us and we love them. Sometimes we even cover one of their songs. We just love their energy.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with (Band Name)
PA:Our first UK tour. Simply because it is a place that we all love for it's music. We are so proud of being scheduled for three great venues. It's our very first tour abroad and above all, on the Rock land!

MM:  Which are your Two favourite  albums of all time and what they have meant to you personally
Apolline: The self titled The La album because of There She Goes track. It's my favourite by far. The first album I've been pulled to listen 'til the end. And The Beatles' White album. Simply because it's THE band that brought me the Rock fever. Their songs are great and they all marked me out as a musician.
Nicolas: The Beatles' Rubber Soul because this album has no weak spot. It brings back childhood memories. And Pixies' Doolittle. A Punk/Rock album that says a lot about how I play guitars.
Gaëlle: Joy Division's Unknown Pleasure. This album made the New Wave genre known to me and that sad universe. Sober, melancholic. And Radiohead's Kid A. A real mixture of Electronic music, melody, singing ... everything! My ultimate crush!

MM: Where would you like to see yourselves in 5 years time ?
PAOn a world tour on a life sustaining planet.

MM: Four words to describe Plastic Age:

•    Energy
•    Melody
•    Vocal Choruses
•    Punk

MM: Can you tell me why we should check out Plastic Age

PA:Because we are cuteness personified !
