MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences?We are The Chuck Norris Experiment from Göteborg, Sweden, and we are celebrating 20 years as a band this year. We play action filled hard rock with love of everything that makes your foot stomp and you ass sway. Our biggest influence is Russ Myer movies.

 

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from?Everyday things, news, songs, movies, but mostly Spiderman cartoons.MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song?Oh, that is a difficult question. The song that always gets the loudest response in the tour van is “Aces High” by Iron Maiden! A fantastic tune. Everything is perfect.

 

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2024?We will do a tour in Spain for the first time, I believe it is set for October, and early 2025 we will be back in the UK for festivals and club gigs. We really look forward to this!MM: What can we expect from Chuck Norris Experiment live?We always give 100%. It does not matter if there are 5000 or 5 people in front of the stage, if you have taken time off your life to be there that evening, you deserve to get your socks knocked off.

 

MM: What do you like best and worst about touring?The best part for me is meeting up with all the wonderful people in the rock scene, playing shows is great, but hanging around with interesting people is the best.The worst part. I don’t think there is a worst part. Maybe the food we get in punk places, that is fucking terrible.

 

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies?Great question!

1. Turbonegro – Because they are the best band in the world2. The Bronx – They should end the evening, so I can see them live every night3. The Hellacopters – Just becauseMM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why?Nick Cave at Waterfront in Stockholm back in 2014. It was the first time I saw Mr. Cave and I really did not know what to expect. It was raw power, much or intense than any rock show I have been to. Amazing.

 

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with the band?The fact that we have been together for 20 years, and we keep on making records that gets better and better. I am very proud and happy about that.

 

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time?1. Dio – Holy Diver2. Lowrider – Ode To Io

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?

That was sometime back in high school. I remember I was very, very nervous, but there were a couple of cute girls upfront so we just had to forget about the nerves and be bloody great!

 

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall?

I had all heavy metal posters available in my room. Mostly Iron Maiden, Saxon & Mötley Crüe.MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person?Lemmy.

 

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?

The release of our new album “20” (June 27), and everything that comes with an album release. Doing interviews like this, radio, promotion and hopefully sell one million records!

 

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?

We have already picked that one off our bucket list. Bruce Springsteen wrote Hungry Heart for the Ramones back in the day, but they never recorded it. So we took it on us to make that happen. We recorded that song in the way we think Ramones would have done it. Check it out on your favourite streaming platform.
